Rebecca Spann, ED.S., LPC is a licensed professional counselor with 15 years of experience advancing culturally responsive and identity-affirming mental health care. Her career has been dedicated to supporting communities of color, mentoring clinicians, and designing practices that remove barriers and center lived experience — work that directly shapes her leadership at Our Mental Health Collective.

As the founder of About You Counseling, Rebecca has specialized in therapeutic support for women and created spaces that prioritize authenticity, cultural relevance, and emotional safety. Her experience guiding clients through healing, supervising emerging clinicians of color, and advocating for accessible care fuels OMHC's mission to expand affirming mental health access statewide.

Throughout her career, Rebecca has mentored therapists, facilitated workshops, and built organizational programs that challenge inequitable systems and promote liberatory approaches to care. Her core values continue to guide her vision for OMHC: a network of resources, clinicians, and community spaces that honor identity, reduce stigma, and bring healing directly to the people who need it most.
